The Historical Society is compiling a series of booklets detailing the history of the Mastic Peninsula. The first 7 volumes are now
available to purchase at a cost of $3 each, two for $5, 7 for $18. Volume 1 is a history of the Unkechaug Indians (Poospatuck). Volume 2 is on the great estates of the area. Volume 3 is on Mastic Park. Volume 4 is on Mastic Beach. Volume 5 is on Shirley. Volume 6 is on Organizations and Notables. Volume 7 is Wm Floyd Schools
